Subtle nuances of Mandarin orange peel intertwine with boysenberry, sour cherry, and black olive. The nose translates to the palate with a deep, brooding core of black fruit and crème de cassis dominating the mid-palate. We were greeted by Marie with a smile and a glass of Sauvignon blanc. We loved hearing the story behind Hourglass winery while sipping our wine during the tour. The best part was sitting in the comfortably cool tasting cave. Not only was the cave room a unique, intimate atmosphere, but the wines are fabulous and it was great speaking with Marie. Hourglass Winery offers a unique outdoor experience nestled in our vineyard. We will take you on a journey through our current estate offerings. A tasting fee of $125 per person is charged, but will be waived with the purchase of three bottles per person within the group.
