I started The Rise Up Foundation in 2008 as a way to use my skills, experience, and resources to help people and organizations overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. I have worn many hats throughout my career, including working as a Certified Public Accountant, Chief Financial Officer, entrepreneur, and professor.

Rise Up Society. The Rise Up Society is a charitable organization based in Kenya, Africa. They are working to eradicate Kenya of an invasive parasitic flea, the tunga penetran. Known locally as the Jigger, removal of this flea is necessary to prevent infection and loss of limbs.
